General Education Development (GED)
Didn’t complete high school? The GED is an Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate you can earn if you left high school without a diploma. Our staff can help you decide if the GED Test is the best option for you.
Our Skills Upgrading and Readiness Program can assess your skills and help you prepare for the five test subjects:
- Language Arts (Writing)
- Language Arts (Reading)
- Mathematics
- Science
- Social Studies
Once you have finished upgrading, we can help you register to write the GED test.
A GED certificate can help you get a job or promotion, and enrol in a college or an apprenticeship program.
For more information about the GED, visit the Independent Learning Centre (ILC) website.
